Membership Levels & Pricing
Why Join the Club?
Becoming a member of the BIFSC allows you to meet and skate with like minded athletes, go to competitions, perform in ice shows and take skating tests! Club skaters get access to exclusive practice ice where you can practice some of the more advanced figure skating maneuvers in a safe environment. You also get access to the official USFS, LTS and Aspire training programs and proficiency tests that are designed to encourage skill development and mastery.
Step 1: Annual BIFSC Membership
All members need to register as a Bend Ice Figure Skating Club (BIFSC) member in alignment with USFS. This standalone membership aligns with USFS renewals each year on June 30th and includes:
- USFS membership
- Skating Magazine subscription
- Coverage under USFS Figure Skating’s sport accident insurance policy
- Privilege to participate in USFS sanctioned testing (not including test fees)
- Privilege to participate in USFS competitions
- Privilege to purchase official BIFSC apparel
- Privilege to participate in club meetings
- Optional participation in Winter and Spring Showcase
- Official USFS Pin (new members only)
- Special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners

Step 2: BIFSC Programming/Ice Time
Please choose below and register for which program and ice times work best for your skill level, goals and previous experience. We are delighted to offer the most ice time this season than any season has before and encourage members to take advantage of the new programming structure and additional ice!
Gold
3 hrs/week excluding holidaysIce Time Included:
USFS Aspire Group Instruction: Saturday AM: 6 – 6:30 am (30 min)
Open Ice

Silver

Development Academy
Ages 7 - 13; Level 4 and above- The BIFSC Development Academy follows the official skating curriculum that is provided by Learn to Skate USA (LTS), a division of the United States Figure Skating Association. It provides a bridge between the Bend Parks and Rec (BPRD) skating program and your path to joining the Bend Ice Figure Skating Club and participating in our club events and performances. To be eligible for the Development Academy skaters should have participated in the BPRD Learn to Skate classes and have had passed at least Level 3.
