With skaters ages 6 and up the Bend Ice Figure Skating Club (BIFSC) is dedicated to making a positive impact on the skaters involved in the sport of figure skating. The values and lessons of commitment, dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship that the skaters learn through their participation will shape and grow them over the years. Being a member of the BIFSC provides the opportunity to benefit from the team aspect of the sport, a great experience for the young athlete. Like most amateur teams that compete at a State and National level the costs are significant. Coaching, training, on and off-ice wardrobes, equipment, and travel expenses are chief among those costs. When the BIFSC members travel to competitions, they represent our local community and the United States through U.S. Figure Skating, the governing body for all figure skating in the United States. By sponsoring our club you will be helping our skaters realize their goals and skate with an elite tradition. We can assure our sponsors of two things: 1. 100% of any funds contributed will go directly to benefit the skater-athletes. 2. Your sponsorship will be utilized and appreciated.

Club Sponsorship
We are pleased to be offering an opportunity to local businesses and individuals to become Club Sponsors. The Bend Ice Figure Skating Club is a member club of U.S. Figure Skating and we are growing. To support our vision and growth the BIFSC is offering sponsorship opportunities. As we touch the skating community and families in Bend we can help your business.
The BIFSC is led by a volunteer board of directors and dedicated volunteers that chair and serve on our committees. However, we are different from many other sports programs in the area in that we are a small non-profit club that does not receive any city sponsored or grant assistance. Our primary source of revenue is the membership fees paid by families, proceeds from our annual fundraisers and donations received from generous individuals and businesses. Sadly, these funds no longer cover all of the Club’s expenses.
In order to continue to make figure skating a rewarding experience for so many in our community, we are reaching out to area businesses, family and friends and offering the opportunity to help by becoming a Club Sponsor. Please note that since the BIFSC is a 501(c)3 non-profit, any contribution is tax deductible.
