Anne-Marie Daggett

Anne-Marie fell in love with figure skating while watching competitions and shows on TV as a well as attending the Ice Capades shows with her grandmother and mother at a very young age.  She received her first pair of skates and lessons for Christmas when she was 12 and was hooked for years.  It seems Phoenix, Arizona would be an odd place to begin a skating career, but that’s where it all happened.  She was coached under Roy and Sandy Wagelein, 1968 US Championship silver medalists and 1968 Grenoble, France Olympians.  Anne-Marie Competed all over the western United States for 5 years moving up to novice level before going to college in Tucson.  She has since returned to the ice after a few decades, a few children and a few wrinkles later.  She loves teaching the basics to beginning skaters and she realizes that a solid foundation needs to be obtained before moving on to the more intricate and difficult moves.  Her ultimate goal is that her students have fun and enjoy their time on the ice.  Anne-Marie is a 16 year resident of Bend, Oregon and owns her own creative agency called The Marketing Dept. which serves as an outsourced marketing department for businesses and non-profits.

Lindsay Patterson

Lindsay began her skating career at the age of 3 at the local rink in her hometown of Massena, NY. With a mother who is a professional figure skating coach and a father who managed the rink, it was almost inevitable she would become a figure skater.

She competed individually and in synchronized skating and tested within US Figure Skating. She passed Intermediate freestyle and holds a gold medal in Moves in the Field and US and Canadian Ice Dance. She is also an eight-time time national synchronized skating competitor. As an undergraduate, Lindsay founded a collegiate synchro team at her alma mater and later went on to form the varsity program at Adrian College. Prior to moving to Bend, she coached for 10 years with the Knoxville Figure Skating Club in Tennessee.

Lindsay strongly believes in the fundamentals of skating and specializes in jump and spin technique, edge-work, and power skating. Her students have achieved success in both sectional and national competitions. When she isn’t at the rink you can find her baking at home or out exploring her new home in the PNW!
